Special Welding Division

From our experience, Mecanizados del Besós offers a complete solution to the client from the creation of the pre-machining plans to the reloading of material and the final machining. For the petrochemical sector, the “cladding” of valves and components, with nickel-based or stainless-based contributions on a carbon steel base, and the manufacture of filters and baskets with meshes of different weights and materials stand out: stainless steel, Inconel or Hastelloy, among others. Oriented mainly to the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and food sectors, Mecanizados del Besós has the certification in orbital welding for the assembly of tunnels in skids and formulation equipment in general.

Certifications and Documentation

- All nickel-based or stainless-based material cladding WPQRS are sealed by a NOBO body. - We work in collaboration with the Catalan Welding Institute (ITCS) to manage new procedures and maintain existing ones.

- In all projects we offer a complete dossier with all the associated documentation: plans, welding certificates, contribution material and corresponding NDT reports.
